Getting there
Access is exclusively via three ferry terminals.
| How | Time | Cost | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Car: Drive to the Old Goa, Ribandar, or Naroa ferry points and load the car onto the Ro-Ro ferry. | 10-15 minutes for the crossing | INR 10 - INR 40 toll | Ferries run every 15-30 minutes from around 6:00 AM to past midnight. Bring your own vehicle, as public transport on the island is virtually non-existent. |
| Walk: Take a local bus to the Old Goa or Ribandar ferry terminal and walk onto the passenger ferry. | 10-15 minutes for the crossing | Free | Walking onto the ferry is easy, but exploring the 10km long island entirely on foot can be exhausting; renting a scooter beforehand is highly recommended. |
| Tour: Book a guided e-bike, cycling, or walking heritage tour from Panaji or Old Goa. | 3-6 hours | INR 1,500 - INR 3,500 | Tours typically include ferry transport, guided visits to hidden heritage sites, and a traditional Goan meal. |
